We believe that each and every cat deserves a chance to live a happy and healthy life. No cat should be euthanized due to lack of homes or shelter space.
MEOW, Inc. is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization established to help homeless and free-roaming cats in Monmouth County, NJ by conducting Trap, Neuter, and Return (TNR). TNR is the universally-recognized method of humanely trapping unaltered feral cats, spaying/neutering them, vaccinating and releasing them back to the same location where they were originally trapped.
Due to new advancements in science, tracking and understanding of animal behavior, TNR has now been deemed the humane way of reducing feral cat colonies by the ASPCA and behaviorists like Jackson Galaxy. Learn more about how to conduct TNR and how to care for feral, free-roaming community cats in your neighborhoods. They need our help!
As a non-profit organization, we need your help! In order to continue our efforts we are asking you for your support. Support can be monetary, donations of supplies or just volunteering your time to support our cats. Every dollar donated goes directly to our TNR mission. Your contributions are also used to buy food, shelter and medical care for our furry little friends!
There are many ways you can help cats in your neighborhood. That can range from donating food to someone who cares for a cat colony, socializing feral kittens, making winter shelters that can be distributed to others, caring for outdoor cats yourself with TNR and feeding, or trying to change laws in your own town to help community cats by getting TNR ordinances on the books!
Thank you to all who continue to support the lifesaving work of Meow Inc!
Please keep an eye out for upcoming fundraisers!
